Hosting and e-mail delivery

This website and the delivery of form messages run on Schäuffelhut Berger GmbH's own servers in a data centre in Munich. We do not use external service providers for this.

Server logs

When you visit our website, your browser necessarily transmits data to our server, which stores it in log files: IP address, date and time of the request, the address requested, referrer URL, browser type and version, and operating system. The data serves the secure and stable operation of the website and is not combined with other data sources.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating the website securely).

No cookies, no analytics

This website sets no cookies and uses no web analytics or tracking services. Fonts and images are loaded from our own server.

If you choose a different colour scheme with the colour scheme switch, your browser stores that choice locally (localStorage, entry "cs-theme") so that it is kept for your next visit. The entry is not transmitted to us; you can delete it in your browser settings.

Contact form

When you write to us through the form on this website, we use your details (name, company, e-mail address, your systems and your request) to handle your request and any follow-up questions. The message is sent to us by e-mail. We do not pass this data on without your consent.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering your request); if your request aims at a contract, Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

Retention: the data is deleted no later than 6 months after your request has been handled, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

Protection against abuse: to keep the form from being used for spam, we limit the number of requests per IP address. For this purpose your IP address is held only in the server's memory, for at most one hour after your last request, and is then deleted. For this purpose it is not stored on disk and not included in the message; for the general server logs see above. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in preventing abuse).

Encryption

This website is delivered over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) only.

Your rights

You have the right of access to the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future.

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): where we process data on the basis of a legitimate interest, you can object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

For all data protection matters you can reach us at info@schaeuffelhut-berger.de.
